Travellers set up camp on land next to park in Northampton neighbourhood

The group, consisting of around five to seven caravans, has recently set up camp on The Drive, a public road and footpath behind St Crispins Working Men's Club and next to St Crispins Park.

A spokesperson for West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) said: “We are aware of the encampment. Colleagues from the WNC Northamptonshire Traveller Unit are assessing the situation in line with established processes. At this stage, it would not be appropriate for the council to comment further.”
