Major road in and out of Northampton to CLOSE TONIGHT for repair work

West Northamptonshire Council's Highways team has announced that the A4500 will be closed from 11pm tonight (Tuesday) for safety works.

A spokesman said: “The A4500 will be closed from 11pm tonight between Sandy Lane Roundabout (Kislingbury) and Millfield Way Roundabout for safety‑critical carriageway repairs.

“The road is expected to be fully reopened by 4am on February 18. A diversion is in place. Apologies for any disruption.”

The Chronicle & Echo recently visited the A4500 and saw large potholes on both sides of the stretch of the busy road.
