Police appealing for witnesses after serious collision near Northampton industrial estate

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision this morning close to a Northampton industrial estate.

The collision happened in Boughton Lane, near Moulton Park Industrial Estate at around 7.35am today (November 28) and involved a blue Chrysler PT Cruiser and a black Mercedes E250.

Northamptonshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit tweeted brief details of the collision this afternoon.

Both drivers received minor injuries. The front seat passenger of the Chrysler suffered serious injuries and remains at University Hospital Coventry.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage or CCTV of the area is urged to call Drivewatch on 0800 174615 quoting incident 95.
