Police and fire rescue service rush to scene of overturned vehicle in Kingsthorpe

Kingsthorpe Road (A508) in Northampton has been closed both ways due to an overturned car in Queen's Park Parade.

The crash took place outside of the Queen's Park Dental Practice this morning (April 6) at around 11.30am and the overturned vehicle is believed to be a Toyota Rav 4.

Police and paramedics are currently on the scene and there are currently reports of slow traffic from Mill Lane to Asda due to road closures as emergency services continue to deal with the incident.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: "The road has been closed at the Cock Hotel. No one appears to be seriously injured at this time."

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue service has been contacted for comment.
