Police and fire crews dealing with ongoing kitchen fire incident in Northampton

Fire crews and police are currently dealing with an ongoing incident in the St Crispin's area of Northampton.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to an address in Kent Road South at around 4pm today (June 12).

Police officers are also at the scene.

Residents in the local area have reported seeing several fire engines, as well as police officers. Some residents are also being asked to find another way round.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police confirmed that crews were in attendance at a three storey house due to kitchen fire.

There are not injuries at present, but the incident is described as 'ongoing'.
