For this month only, Teresa Deacon is taking on a new character every day for her charity fundraiser. Many people may know Teresa from her day job as a receptionist at Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, where she's worked for the past five years, but this month she is barely recognisable.

Teresa can be spotted every day running round Abington Park in fancy dress where she is raising awareness and donations the charity she works for.

She said: "I have had so many claps, odd stares and children jumping up and down, which really makes me smile.

"While I was dressed as a bride, a man said 'don’t be late' and I was proposed to my an elderly gentleman, 'will you marry me, my love?' he said, which was so sweet.

"My 1940’s outfit on VE Day was amazing - an elderly lady said 'I looked beautiful and reminded her of when she was young. Woodland Avenue neighbours invited me to share the minute silence with them, and I did. There have been so many magical moments in these outfits each day, which really do spur me on."
