Rex Pudol, the manager at the Moulton nursing home, said he was proud of his team for their hard work and surprised by how well the video has done.

"The good thing about the video is you can see the smiles on the residents' faces, which is really good," he said.

Ashurst Mews has had no cases of coronavirus so far and the team wanted to spread some positivity during a difficult time for care homes and the wider community.

The video starts by welcoming the viewer into the care home on Northampton Lane North before a series of messages, dances and more from residents and staff.

"Last week my deputy manager, Hollie Morris, and other members of staff came up with the idea and it took us a whole day to do the video," he said.

"But it's done really well and Avery, which owns the care home, is very happy with it and posted it on its website too.

"We've had a lot of great feedback from families and friends of our residents, as well as strangers on Facebook - we're really pleased people like it."
