Watch as police cordon off busy road in Northampton following incident

Part of Goldings Road, from the junction with Prentice Court to Osmund Drive, has been taped off by Northamptonshire Police tonight.

Eyewitnesses say ‘lots of police and ambulance crews’ were in attendance earlier in the evening at around 8pm.

Chronicle and Echo was at the scene at 9pm where multiple police crews were guarding the area.

Osmund Drive and Prentice Court are open to traffic at this time.

Northamptonshire Police has been contacted for comment.
