Visitor numbers rise as families flock to Northamptonshire farm park's £10 summer offer
Families are making the most of affordable summer days out at West Lodge Farm Park in Desborough where the Great British Summer Savings campaign has got off to a flying start.
The Northamptonshire attraction has reported visitor numbers ahead of last summer, with many families discovering the farm for the first time.
Reduced admission of just £10 per person has proved popular as households continue to look for value during the school holidays.
The recent spell of warm, sunny weather has also helped create ideal conditions for spending a day outdoors.

One of this year’s surprise successes has been guinea pig fishing, where children use miniature fishing rods with fresh leafy treats to attract hungry guinea pigs.
The activity has quickly become one of the farm’s most photographed attractions.
Goat milking has also been introduced this summer, giving children a chance to enjoy a genuine farming experience while learning where food comes from.
Farmer Ryan said: “We’re delighted with the response. Families are telling us they’ve been amazed by how much is included for £10 and how easy it is to spend a whole day here.
"Seeing so many new faces discovering the farm has been brilliant.
“Our aim has always been to combine fun with learning. Whether children are feeding guinea pigs, watching goat milking or meeting our farm animals, they’re learning about farming, food and the countryside without even realising it."
The Great British Summer Savings continues throughout the school holidays, with entry priced at £10 per person and hundreds of animals, daily activities and family attractions included.
