Traveller's camp set up in car park of Northampton supermarket

A traveller's camp has been set up on private land in a Northampton supermarket.

Around 10am today (August 24) four caravans arrived at Asda in London Road, Far Cotton.

The caravans have been set up to the side of the shop in the car park.

Caravans have been set up in Asda's car park.

Northamptonshire Police has been made aware of the camp.

However, the land is privately owned by Asda so the supermarket will be responsible for any action.

Asda has been contacted for comment.
