There are currently 10 businesses in Northampton where people in the know can nab food for less at the end of the day - if they go the right way about it.
The Too Good To Waste app was set up in 2016 with an aim to cut down on food waste and help businesses throw away less produce.
Restaurants and businesses signed up to the scheme can advertise on the app that they will have 'magic bags' of spare food on offer for less by the end of the day - and customers who get there first can reserve some of the goods for themselves and pay less to take them away.
Northampton has currently (July 30) has 10 businesses signed up to the too Good To Go scheme with food to spare at the end of the day.
