Northampton resident Sophie Healy filmed the tornado as it passed by her house.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the freak weather and there have been no reports of damage to houses - but the community at Moulton Allotments have been left to pick up the pieces today after the twister wreaked havoc on residents' gardens. Now, dozens of residents have sent their videos to the Chronicle & Echo of the tornado as it passed near them.

Many eyewitnesses could only watch in shock as it flung debris into the air, "decimated" trees and skirted only a few hundred metres from where they stood.

It came after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for rain earlier on Saturday.
