Residents can sign up for garden waste collections in West Northants at £69 per bin
West Northamptonshire residents can now subscribe to optional, paid garden waste collections starting April 1.
The annual subscription for the 2026/27 fortnightly service is £69 per bin. Subscribers will receive a 2026/27 garden waste permit.
Residents can sign up and set up yearly direct debit payments for automatic renewal via West Northamptonshire Council’s website. Common questions about the service are also addressed there.
For those not subscribing, garden waste can be taken to any WNC household waste recycling centre free of charge. These sites operate seven days a week, 10am to 4pm.
Home composting is another option, the council says, with information available on the Royal Horticultural Society website. The cuncil will promote this during Compost Awareness Week, May 3-9.
