The visit will be one of the prince's last engagements as royal before stepping down from his duties at the end of the month and one of the first since making the shock announcement.

Prince Harry and Lewis will have the chance to view the different sections of the museum, try out some of the interactive displays and meet with some of the volunteers. T

They will also meet with students from two schools in the Tech Lab section, where they will be learning about the science and technology that goes into racing.

Located in a renovated Second World War RAF hangar at the entrance to the racetrack, The Silverstone Experience opened in October.

Visitors can learn about the science behind the modern-day sport as well as seeing historic cars and bikes and feel what it is like to drive around the track.

Never-before-seen documents from the British Racing Drivers’ Club archive are also available as well as interactive displays, board games and a pub - but without the drinks.
