Pop-up reuse shop arrives in Northamptonshire on March 21 offering second-hand finds for a good cause

A pop-up reuse shop will arrive at a Northamptonshire tip on Friday March 21, where shoppers can buy second-hand items for a good cause.

The event supports West Northamptonshire Council's waste reduction and sustainability commitments, offering second-hand furniture, homeware, toys, books and small appliances with proceeds benefiting Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity.

The initiative builds on the permanent reuse shop at Sixfields HWRC, operated by West Northamptonshire Council, FCC Environment and the charity.

Councillor Nigel Stansfield, cabinet member for environment, recycling and waste, said: "Reuse plays a vital role in reducing waste and supporting our sustainability goals."

The pop-up shop opens from 10am to 4pm with no booking required, and residents can donate reusable items including furniture, small electricals, toys, books and household goods.
