Police enquiry desk moving from Northampton's Guildhall to Weston Favell on Saturdays only

Northamptonshire Police's enquiry desk in Northampton's Guildhall is on the move on Saturdays only from this weekend.

The desk is unoccupied thanks to the ongoing closure of the Guildhall at weekends as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

So anyone seeking help or advice is being directed to the desk at Weston Favell Police Station, which is currently open Monday to Friday, between 9am and midday, and then from 1pm through to 5pm.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "The same service will now also be offered on Saturdays, to help with demand with members of the public able to get advice, report an incident or traffic collision as well as enquire about property among other things.

"The change in venue is for a trial period and will be reviewed at the end of year."
