Police appeal for witnesses after woman in her 20s dies in car crash

A woman in her 20s died in a fatal accident close to the county border with Oxfordshire, police have reported.

Northants Serious Collision Investigation unit was called in to support Thames Valley Police after the accident on the A361 between Wardington and Banbury on Friday evening.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said the accident happened at about 5.30pm. A pink Fiat 500 and a dark Mercedes CLA, were involved. Sadly the driver of the Fiat, a woman in her 20s died.

Northamptonshire Police were involved in liaising with the family.
