Our communities have never been as important to us than they have been in the past ten weeks. Rebecca and Michael Hollowell celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on April 15 after Rebecca placed an advert in the Chron's Lonely Hearts column in 1994 for a bit of fun to try.

WWII veteran 96-year-old Albert Allen showed off his commando spirit by doing 26 squats on his balcony as part of the 2.6 challenge to mark what would have been the 40th London Marathon. He raised 1,726.

Michelle Lewis started a social-distancing 80s disco in Hardingstone for her neighbours where they got dressed up in tutus and legwarmers to dance to S-Club 7 and beat the coronavirus blues.

Northampton's lift tower lit up for the first time to pay thanks to the NHS amid the fifth week of the pandemic. The spectacular laser-light display could be seen from as far as the train station.
