Here are 10 buildings in Northampton which have either been destroyed by fires or demolished by diggers in the past couple of years.
Numerous fires have ripped through buildings in the town recently. And in the same time, many buildings have been demolished as part of construction works.
So we’ve rounded up some of the biggest buildings which have been destroyed between 2021 and 2022.

9. Shell Garage on the A4500
On May 24 2022, the Shell garage between Harpole and Kislingbury was ripped down by construction workers. A brand new garage and forecourt is going to be built, with construction work expected to end by November. Photo: Logan MacLeod

10. The Bull in Harpole
The Bull in Harpole, which was more than 100 years old, closed during the first Covid lockdown in 2020 and never reopened. It was part demolished in December 2021 and will be converted into a five-bed home, with two four-bed detached homes built on the site's car park. Photo: Logan MacLeod
