Picture special: Harley Davidsons roar into Northampton's Market Square to raise money for Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Dozens of Harley Davidson owners rode together through Northampton in aid of Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity on Saturday, April 18.

The April Fools Run has taken place annually in the town for the past 17 years, organised by the owner of independent specialist garage Northants V Twin, Radu Golici and his wife Oana.

Bikers gathered at Sixfields Stadium and then motored through the town to Market Square, where Cynthia Spencer Hospice representatives awaited their arrival with stalls and family fun for all.

Speaking before Saturday, Radu, whose company has recently been named as one of the UK’s Top 100 SMEs in the Elite Business 100, said: “It’s a great event, it sounds amazing when we blow the whistle and fire up 200 Harley Davidsons at the same time.

“It’s feel-good fun as you’re helping a charity while having a good time. Cynthia Spencer is something really close to our hearts, as the hospice has looked after some of our customers.”
