Northants venue to host outdoor cinema playing Grease this summer

A stunning Northamptonshire venue will host an outdoor cinema this summer that will play musical classic, Grease.

Bop along to Grease Lightening and sing your heart out to Summer Nights all while relaxing under the stars.

Courtenhall Estate, near Roade, will host the outdoor film on Saturday May 16.

Film-lovers are invited to bring a blanket and a camping chair and make themselves comfortable before the film starts shortly after sunset at 8pm.

There will be music before the film and a bar, serving hot and cold drinks as well as cocktails, will be open throughout.

Although Courteenhall is also allowing visitors to bring in their own refreshments, including alcohol.

The event is all weather, meaning if it rains the film will still be shown, but umbrellas will not be allowed out of respect for others.

If extreme weather is forecast, such as high winds, a decision will be made around 24 hours before the event as to whether it will go ahead or not.
