Northamptonshire landfill operator seeks permission to keep leachate treatment plant
WNC Waste Management has applied to West Northamptonshire Council to vary a planning condition at the Gayton Landfill Site on Milton Road, Gayton, the council’s Minerals and Waste Planning Service has confirmed.
The application (WNC/25/00029/WASVOC) seeks to change condition 8 of an earlier permission (SN/01/316C) to allow the continued retention of the site’s leachate treatment plant. The treatment plant processes contaminated water produced by the landfill and its future at the site is the subject of the current application.
