Tutoring service Kip McGrath's three Northamptonshire centres have joined forces to offer a Kindle Fire for the best primary, secondary and overall explanation in the competition, which is open to anyone from the county between the ages of six and 16.

Not only will the children win a prize but the winning three teachers will also receive prizes in addition to the ‘Kip McGrath Awesome Teacher Award 2020.’

The entries will be judged by the mayor of Kettering, Cllr Keli Watts.

Northampton North centre director Siân Davies said: “Having previously taught in schools for more than 20 years I know that there are loads of awesome teachers out there.

"I can’t wait to read through all the entries and to see the imaginative descriptions students give about their awesome teachers.

"You can nominate your class teacher, tutor, subject teacher or even your head teacher – they just need to be awesome for some reason!”
