Northampton's Spring Borough residents go 24 hours without heating in sub-zero weather
Residents in five council-operated housing blocks in Northampton went have been without heating for the past 24 hours.
Hundreds of flats operated by Northampton Partnership Homes in Spring Boroughs were reportedly without hot water or heating since yesterday afternoon.

Hide AdIt came on another night where temperatures plummeted to -3C in Northampton on one of the coldest nights of the past year.
The five flat blocks - St Marks, St Johns, St Stephens, St Barnabas, and St Lukes - are reportedly heated by a central system.
When it failed, reportedly at around 2pm on February 11, all flats linked to the system lost their hot water and heating.
Northampton Partnership Homes claims they have repaired the fault as of 3pm today (February 12).

Hide AdSpring Boroughs frequently ranks as one of the most deprived areas in the country.
One 70-year-old resident - who asked to remain anonymous - said they last night had to rely on blankets and their gas oven as a heat source i the freezing weather.
