All teams were set the challenge to complete 500km throughout the month, however some brave colleagues set the goal of 817km, which is the distance traveled between all the Nationwide NOW sites.

Ben Cunnington, from the Nationwide NOW team in Northampton, said: “It was a great challenge and knowing we were competing with other teams around the country made it even more exciting.

"Many charities have been adversely impacted by the pandemic, so we’re pleased that all the funds raised will go to a very worthy cause here in Northampton. Thank you to all those who supported us."

Robin Burgess, Chief Executive of The Hope Centre, said: “Nationwide are an incredible supporter of Hope and we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in this event and has supported Hope over the years.

"It has been an incredibly difficult time for many and we have certainly felt the impact profoundly from a fundraising perspective. Every penny makes such a difference to the vulnerable adults we support.

"We have been working around the clock to ensure their health and wellbeing is supported throughout the pandemic and it is such a boost to them and all of us to know that there are such amazing people out there, supporting us and helping them."
