Northampton community post office will shut for three days while it moves next door

A Northampton community post office will shut for three days while it moves into its new home only one door over.

The Thorplands community shop on Farm Field Court will be relocating with a promise of reopening as a first-class "modern" post office.

The current branch at 37 Farm Field Court will close on October 6, at 5.30pm.

And, three days later, the new modern branch is scheduled to open three days later on October 9 at 9am.

During the interim, the nearest alternative branch is Churchill Avenue Post Office at NN3 6PG.

The opening hours will remain the same.
