Two young brothers from Northampton have recreated an animal rights protest over bull-running in Spain out of Lego for a competition.

Noah and Reggie Baines decided to use a contest from Pamplona celebrating its annual San Fermín festival with Lego to raise awareness of animal cruelty.

The figures are wearing horns to represent the bulls who are killed in the bullring after they are forced to run through the streets.

"We love animals, and knowing that they're killed in bullfights in Pamplona makes us sad," Reggie, seven, said.

"Lots of people around the world want to stop this from happening too so we made this protest against bullfighting because it's not right that animals are treated like this.

"If you want to have fun, you can do things like play with Lego – you don't need to hurt bulls."
