Mark VE Day in Northampton by making a 'Tommy' to display in your window
The Royal British Legion is asking families in Northampton to get creative and support VE Day at home next month.
Of all the events impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II is a unique and sad occasion to lose.

Hide AdBut now, households in Northampton and across the UK are being asked to take the time to mark the anniversary - and show their support with a new window display.
The Royal British Legion have released a set of activities packs, design ideas and colour-in posters to help families celebrate the end of WWII from their homes.
The specially-designed image of a Second World War soldier - Tommy - can be displayed in the window to show the world support for the anniversary.
The charity also hopes families will get active at home on the day with a wartime song singalong and learn the Lindy Hop and Charleston dances to show off on the doorstep.It comes after hundreds of thousands of households across the country showed their support for the NHS with homemade window displays as part of the Rainbow Trail.
