Man pleads not guilty to stealing live-streaming equipment from Northampton church

A man has denied stealing live-streaming equipment from a Northampton town centre church.

Ricky Lee Scarley, of Old Quarry Court, allegedly stepped over a rope near to the altar in All Saints Church and stole the electrical goods worth over £500 on August 19.

Scarley, who was arrested on Tuesday, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court today (August 27) and pleaded not guilty to theft.

He was released on bail and will return to the Magistrate's Court for trial on October 14.
