Wall Games has been taking place across Northampton from Saturday (August 29) and concludes today (Monday, August 31), with artists from across the UK and beyond creating colourful new works at locations around the town centre.
The free three-day festival has featured large-scale murals and live painting alongside street art battles, creative competitions, workshops, DJs and family-friendly activities.
Visitors have also been able to watch artists at work and see the murals taking shape throughout the weekend.
It was founded by Northampton curator James Thompson and is supported by West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) and Northampton Town Centre BID.
Northampton Town Council funded the Codebreaker challenge that was part of the activities on Bank Holiday Monday.
James said: “Wall Games is about bringing people together through creativity. Every year we see artists, families, businesses and visitors travel from far and wide to come together to celebrate art in public spaces.
“Northampton becomes a living canvas, and everyone is invited to be part of it.”
The event has also seen new pieces added to Northampton’s growing collection of street art, leaving permanent works behind after the festival finishes.
Wall Games continues from 10am until 6pm today (August 31), with activities taking place at locations throughout Northampton town centre.
