This newspaper has partnered with the Irchester-based Animals in Need charity to help find their rescue dogs loving homes.
Charity boss Annie Marriott said: "When people adopt a rescue, they save two dogs: the one they bring home and the one that gets the empty kennel. Their lives often depend on it. All our dogs are neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, parasite-treated, and come with four weeks of free insurance, a session with dog behaviourist Nathan Watson, and rescue support for their entire lives.
"If you're interested in welcoming one of our dogs into your home, please email [email protected]. We always conduct a home check and cannot rehome dogs to families with children under five years."
Please visit the Animals in Need website to check the full adoption guidelines and rules around rehoming a rescue dog.
Below are the latest dogs needing rehoming this week, with descriptions provided by Annie.

5. Benji
Benji is a super-friendly boy who loves everyone. He gets along well with other dogs, although he would need to learn about respecting personal space if living with one. He would benefit from a breed-experienced home familiar with potential health issues. Benji is currently on a grain-free diet, which suits him well. He knows only a few basic commands, so a family committed to continuing his training would be ideal. Photo: AIN

6. Hollie
Hollie is a beautiful, good-natured Terrier cross. She is a very happy little lady but can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the big wide world, needing constant reassurance. She would benefit from living with a calm, established dog to help her learn how good a dog’s life can be. Hollie is best suited to a quiet household where she will be given the time and patience to settle. Photo: AIN

7. Mariah
Mariah is a four-year-old Shar Pei cross. Once she gets to know you, she is a lovely, friendly girl who enjoys snuggling. She loves her food, and treats are a good motivator for getting her to follow commands. Mariah is sensitive around her mouth area, so her new family will need to be mindful of this. She does not appear to be reactive toward other dogs but has not yet been cat-tested. Photo: AIN
