One witness who came across the crash and messaged the Chronicle & Echo said: "I don't know how they managed it."
The driver is now reportedly inside the hospital being treated for minor injuries to their hand. No one else was injured in the incident.
Billing Road was briefly closed after the crash while two Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue crews lifted the car away with a crane mounted on a fire engine. The road is now open again.
