"We have had quite a bit of interest so far. You don't have to be a staff member to take part, you can be a member of the public who might want to take the plunge for a cause close to your heart.

"We wanted to do something different this year and add another event to our fundraising calendar. The charity abseil is really great each year and we want to add more variety with the skydive."

The charity helps to enhance patient care in all departments, wards and services for Northampton General Hospital as well as for the community and mental health hospitals and services across the county.
