Heroic PD Bryn locates missing 20-year-old woman in Daventry

There was much praise for police dog Bryn after he assisted officers in tracking a missing 20-year-old woman yesterday afternoon (February 2) in Daventry.

The young woman was reported missing at 2.25pm and Bryn located her less than an hour later after her vehicle was found abandoned near Preston Capes.

Bryn tracked her to a field where she was discovered lying in undergrowth. She has since received medical care and support following the incident.

One commenter on Twitter said: "What a true hero and testament to how important these furry police officers are."

Another person tweeted: "Well done PD Bryn! Such an important part of a PD’s work and a part that really saves lives."
