Candy World has re-opened in Northampton, next to Michael Jones' Jewellers.

The pop-up shop is a familiar name to the Grosvenor Centre and last opened two years ago.

This year, it's in the former Burton mensware unit, which has also been a base for film company, Screen Northants.

James Roberts, centre manager at Grosvenor Shopping Northampton, said: “We’re pleased to be welcoming back Candy World and the team to the shopping centre, as a pop-up store, and we’re looking forward to hosting and working with them over the coming weeks.

“Candy World brings something really unique and different to what we don’t already have at the mall.

"It’s proven to be really popular already since re-opening on 4 March and is perfect for not only the centre, but also the demographic as well.”

Candy World is operating under a temporary lease, which can be extended or terminated by either party. The official end of the lease is 30 August 2020.

The store sells mostly American candy, including Hersheys, Tootsie Rolls, Reese's Pieces, Pop Tarts as well as cereal including Lucky Charms.
