“I’ve been drawing local shops and businesses for a year or so now so I’ve got quite a following and I had a lot of requests.

“I don’t normally do big businesses as I like to support local ones, but who doesn’t love this story?

“It was actually one of the easiest drawings I have done and the least complex picture.

“The badger is the first living being to make it onto a FridgeStreet magnet, I normally do buildings, so now people can own their own commemoration of the event.”

Kardi made 16 of the fridge magnets that will be sold for £4 at Vintage Guru in St Giles Street.

The artist says she will make more if people want the magnets.
