Family 'utterly devastated' as they pay tribute to Wellingborough man Darren King following his death
The family of Darren King, 38, have paid tribute to him following his death on Sunday.
Sadly and despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Darren King, 38, from Wellingborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Darren’s family has today (Tuesday) released a tribute to him via Northamptonshire Police, which reads: “We are utterly devastated by Darren’s death.
"There are not enough words to describe how heartbroken we are by what has happened and would like to thank those people who have offered us support in the last couple of days."
Darren’s family has asked that their privacy continues to be respected as they grieve for their loss.
Donte King, 20, of Birchfield Road appeared at Northampton Magistrates Court this morning (May 5) after being charged with murder.
He was remanded in custody following his appearance at court and a pre-trial hearing will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) at Northampton Crown Court.
A second man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action being taken against him.
