Customers evacuated after fire reportedly breaks out in kitchen of Northampton town centre kitchen

Three fire engines are at the scene of a Northampton town centre restaurant after a blaze broke out in the kitchen.

Customers were evacuated from Pamukkale in St Giles Street at around 8pm after the fire reportedly took hold in the Turkish restaurant's kitchen ducts.

Three fire engines have been dispatched to the rear of the building to tackle the blaze.

Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue say no one has been hurt in the incident.
