Northampton Town players, management and officials arrived back at Sixfields late last night to the cheers of fans who had gathered outside the PTS Academy Stadium late last night, Monday. Fans were denied the opportunity to see the game against Exeter in person at Wembley stadium as it was played behind closed doors. Northampton cruised to victory, putting four past Exeter and securing their place in League One next season.
