A Kettering-based priest has had to go into isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 and his church has closed.

Hide AdFather Gregory Marchwinski, who is the priest at St Edward's Catholic Church in London Road, Kettering, also serves Burton Latimer, Desborough and Rothwell.
The 38-year-old issued a statement yesterday Sunday, September 6, to warn members of the congregation.
He wrote: "Following a short period of feeling unwell, I have been tested positive for coronavirus.

Hide Ad"I have therefore had to cancel all masses and close the church until at least Tuesday, September 15, as the NHS have advised that both myself and Fr. Nicholas must isolate.
"The Presbytery is also closed to callers at the door.
"Anyone who attended masses or otherwise came inside either the church or presbytery from Friday 28th August onwards is advised to be alert for symptoms.
"Our stewards and cleaners have sanitised the church regularly, but you may wish to get a swab test just in case."
