Chron says thank you and shines spotlight on Northampton's much-loved caring community

To mark the start of Carers Week the Chronicle & Echo has featured those dear to your hearts as part of our Northampton carer's picture gallery

"Loving, caring, beautiful, kind and amazing" are just some of the words used by our readers to describe the community of carers who live among us in Northampton.

Hundreds of you sent in pictures of your nearest and dearest over the weekend who are constantly working their socks off to make the lives of those less fortunate dignified and happy.

To celebrate National Carer's Week, which started on Monday, June 8 we are compiling picture galleries featuring members of Northampton's caring community who go the extra mile to help others.

Have a read of what the nominators had to say.
