Bubblylicious cooks the bubbles freshly everyday using tapioca, which is a starch extracted from a root vegetable called cassava.
This means that the beverages served at the new bubble tea shop are 100 per cent vegan, gluten-free and natural.
The outer shell of the juice balls is made from seaweed, so contains no gelatin.

Bubble tea has been a craze in countries such as Taiwan since the 1980s but has only in the last few years reached the UK.
The bubbles are also great to use as toppings for desserts such as frozen yoghurt, cakes, ice cream and waffles.
