Here are nine adorable dogs which are looking for a forever home this week in Northamptonshire.
Animals in Need Northamptonshire is currently looking after the rescue dogs at its kennels in Pine Tree Farm in Irchester.
Charity owner Annie Marriott said: "We rehomed 13 dogs over the weekend but have so many more desperate to come in.
"When people adopt a rescue they save two dogs, the dog they take home and the pound dog that gets that empty kennel.
"Their lives often depend upon it.
"If you're interested in welcoming one of our dogs into your home, please email [email protected]
"We always do a home check and cannot rehome dogs to families with children under five years."

5. Major Tom
Loves: His ball, playing fetch, long walks in nature and attention. Lots of it. Dislikes; Getting back on the lead, being left all alone, and children (I’m sorry, I’m sure they’re lovely but I think in my earlier life I remember bad experiences with them).
6. Hero
Hero is a stunning, sleek five-year-old retired racing greyhound. He used to be a confident giddy lad. Fine with other dogs. A comfy sofa to sleep on and a good sized secure garden for him is essential. He has lived in kennels all his life so will require house training.
7. Brutus
Brutus is an eight-year-old wire haired pointer, he is trained to the whistle and house trained. He would like a home with children over 12 years old to play with him. He would love to have a go at agility or scent work. Doesn't mix well with other dogs, cats or smaller furries.
8. Leon
Leon is a three-year-old Border Collie who needs an active home where no children live or visit. He is shy with strangers so proper introductions are a must. Once he knows you he is the most living loyal boy. A home committed to providing Leon with plenty of physical and mental stimulation is a must.
