The weather event that always makes for great photographs...

On Wednesday (February 22), a rainbow graced the skies over Northampton after a grey day.

With bright colours, rainbows always make for great photographs and many in the town were keen to snap a picture while the short-live rainbow was still around.

Below are 12 photographs of the rainbow over Northampton, taken by readers.
