Patishall Jane to cycle for Cynthia

Pattishall cyclist, Jane Brodie, has already raised Â£3,000 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice ahead of her Euro City Challenge.

Jane Brodie presented over Â£3,000 to Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Next month she will be pedalling 270 miles from London to Harwich, then from the Hook of Holland to Amsterdam before cycling to Brussels- all in four days.

Jane, 56, has been busy raising funds for the hospice and already presented a cheque to the Hospice’s events fundraiser, Sarah Denston, for £3,046, twice her original target.

She said: “I am in training at the moment and will do the 270-mile bike ride, starting in Brentwood on August 31 and finishing at the Atomium in Brussels on September 3.

“I am riding with a friend, Kim Attenborough, with who I did the London to Paris bike ride in 2007.

She is raising money for Dementia UK this time.”
