Opticians moves into former Disney Store unit in Northampton's Grosvenor Centre

A key unit within Northampton's main shopping centre has been filled by an opticians.

Vision Express opened today (Thursday) in the former Disney Store unit on the second floor of the Grosvenor Centre opposite Boots and WH Smith.

It has moved just a few doors down from its previous location next to McDonald’s.

The Disney Store closed in 2013 and in 2014 plans were put forward to turn it into a retro American diner.

Despite submitting a planning application to Northampton Borough Council, Ed’s Easy Diner pulled out of moving into the town centre later that year.
