Northants Police have launched a 100-day war on the criminals blighting communities across the county.

They have promised to come ‘crashing through the doors’ of those suspected of crimes including serious organised crime, sexual violence, domestic abuse and child exploitation.

Three months of intense police activity kicked off in the north of the county and will continue throughout the summer, with the hope of criminals feeling the heat as the net closes in on them. People always say they want more visibile policing and this is just that - officers targeting individuals and properties where wrong-doing is going on and letting criminals know it won’t be tolerated. Police are using information from the community to secure these warrants and we should do our bit if we have seen or heard something that could help. No-one wants to live in fear of crime and we should do what we can to support the police as they bid to make Northants a safer place to live.
