'The new tier policy will kill our businesses and economy'

Open letter to my MP for South Northamptonshire Andrea Leadsom.

I find that the new tiers announced are far too draconian, with far too big areas being swept up in tiers 2 and 3. What on earth is your Government doing, you will bankrupt us all, and end up with a nation seeking psychological help.

And, as before, there are some strange anomalies. Why can I go to my daughter’s house for Christmas Dinner (her family of four, with me and my wife) but we cannot go to a pub restaurant on Boxing Day, where the six of us will sit down at a table and not move.

Then who is supposed to go to pubs? Are you trying to totally kill off all hospitality?
