'How long will it be before there is a serious accident involving an e-scooter in Northampton?'

On Sunday, September 20, at approximately 2pm, I witnessed three incidents of e-scooters being ridden antisocially and/or illegally.

First, two adults on e-scooter riding along Cattle Market Road in the direction of the Plough Hotel.

Secondly, an e-scooter riding around the grass in Beckets Park where young children were playing.

Third, an e-scooter being ridden in a zig zag fashion from Angel Square towards Guildhall Road, completely oblivious to other road users and pedestrians.

Where can complaints be reported? How long before anything is done to stop these dangerously ridden machines hurting or worse killing someone?

They are menace, being dumped across footpaths, making it difficult for pedestrians to move around them.

Surely each scooter should have visible registration plate so the culprits can be prosecuted?
