'How can we make Northampton the cleanest town in the county? It's too late for an anti-litter campaign'

The town has been riddled in litter and cigarette butts for a long time. Although I welcome the anti litter campaign, it’s come too late.

We should be looking at changing people's attitudes about litter. A campaign needs to be targeted. Enforcement is key, however we do not have enforcement officers in all the wards to catch people so we go round in circles. Behaviours and attitudes need to change and to do that information needs to go through all letter boxes informing people about the risks associated and the environmental impact.

How can we make Northampton the cleanest town in the county? Don’t drop it, bin it was my campaign in St James.
